August Rush started as a group of friends that Loves Music. After a few days the band has endured to cover a song of Boys like girls "Two is better than one." They are going to perform for their school's recognition day on April 2010. For their 2009 performance, Don, Kenneth, Janice, and Jez performed the song "21 Guns" for the "Battle of the Bands" in their school and unexpectedly won the contest. They Thank God so much for His Blessings.

The former band name was "The Undecided" because they didn't thought of any better name for their band at that time. The name "August Rush" was derived from the movie "August Rush" that inspired them. Their band name should be Pathway to providence or The Undecided. But the name "Pathway to providence" was already taken since 2007, and the name "The undecided" was a very silly name for a Band name so they changed it.
